Help Dr. Mark Cooper Find a Kidney
Dr. Mark Cooper, past REDS President and longtime Lake County dentist, is seeking a new kidney through Facebook. Dr. Cooper suppers from Polycystic Kidney Disease, a genetic cystic disorder of the kidneys, which occurs in humans and some other animals. PKD is characterized by the presence of multiple cysts typically in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and, in some rare cases, the heart and brain.
